The largest in the Nordics
Once completed, Enetron Uusnivala battery energy storage park will be the largest battery power station in the Nordics. The combined power of the facility is 125 MW, of which 65 MW is connectable December 2026 and the remaining 60 MW in year 2028. This two transformer solution enables the park to utilise rapid technological development within the battery storages so that both steps of the project can use different generation battery solutions.
Ready to build
Uusnivala battery energy storage power plant has received the necessary building permits. Also, ground surveys on the area are completed and the connectivity is contractually secured from the Finnish TSO Fingrid.
The final investment decision has not yet been made.
Enetron Park Uusnivala is not to be mixed with other battery power plant projects on the same Uusnivala power station.
