The Board of Enetron Park has made the construction decision for the Kiiminki battery park. The park will be built with a 5.5 MW connection capacity, and an agreement has been signed with Oulun Energia Sähköverkko for the grid connection.

The project’s partners, equipment suppliers, and main contractor will be announced in the coming weeks. Construction is set to begin in late summer, with the facility scheduled for completion in October 2025. The Kiiminki battery storage plant will be part of Enetron’s own portfolio of plants, and its construction will be financed using Enetron Parks own cash reserves and a bank loan.
