Enetron Park has signed a land lease agreement with Lankosken Sähkö, the local electricity provider, and will immediately begin the project’s design work.

This will be the first energy storage facility connected to Lankosken Sähkö’s grid, and as part of the project, the possibility of using the storage to improve the reliability of the local electricity supply and enhance maintenance operations will be explored.

The Lankoski battery storage plant will be located in the village of Tuorila, in the municipality of Merikarvia. The permitting process for the project is expected to be completed by fall 2025, after which Enetron Park will make further decisions regarding the project.
