Enetron has signed contracts for the delivery of the Kiiminki BESS plant with Finnish Cactos Oy. The contract covers a power plant with a connectivity of 5,5 MW capacity of 13,6 MWh. Hence the power plant is ”2,5 hour battery”.

The contract for the main construction contract has been signed with Nordic Electro Power Oy.

Enetron has previously worked with both of the parties: the demo facility in Penvikintie deployed Cactos Yavia batteries and Nordic Electro Power has advised Enetron as a permit and planning partner in Kiiminki from the beginning.

Ground break in Kiiminki will happen September 2025 and commercial operation will begin January 2026.
